Design
Options
There are many design options available. Listed below are the main items that
you will need to consider for the construction and design of your website.
Frameset
You can choose between standard static web pages (this site is constructed
using static pages) or a frameset incorporating windows on view at the same
time. (see the Education Away site on the our portfolio page)
Both have advantages, the main
difference being that sites built with frames have content pages that change as
you navigate through the site. The banners and navigation buttons remain
permanently on view. Some people consider "Frames" are easier to navigate
because of this design option.
Pages
You may choose the exact number of pages you require. There is no minimum or
maximum specification. We can create sites comprising a single page, to those
containing many hundreds of pages. The choice is yours, you only pay for what
you need.
Backgrounds
You may specify the type of background required. You can choose from many
different background colours, textures and designs.
Images
All navigation buttons and bars necessary for smooth and quick navigation will
be supplied as part of the package. You do not need to include these when
considering the number of images you require.
However, we will need to consider
the number of images you need on the site, including company logos, photo's and
other graphical content.
Contact
Forms With Choice Of Fields
An on-line contact form is included within the package. Forms enable you to
obtain valuable information directly from your customers. They are invaluable
marketing tools.
Auto
Responding E-mail
As soon as a visitor completes a form, a tailored e-mail message of thanks or
acknowledgement can be sent to the visitor.
Animation
There are many types of animation that
can enhance web sites and pages from simple Animated Gif's, through complicated
Flash Movies to Streaming Video and more.
Our advise in all aspects of Website Design is
always to follow the "Kiss" principle, i.e., Keep It Simple Stupid.
